How to Take the Fear out of Feedback

Feedback is an essential mechanism to advocate for needs, seed change, and learn about your own growth. And yet, it often feels easier to accept the status quo for fear that feedback might be hurtful or critical in ways you didn't intend.

In this workshop, you will learn why free-flowing feedback is essential to inclusion and belonging in organizations. You will also learn how to give and receive feedback while recognizing that difficult emotions will show up and working to keep mutual trust and safety in the conversation.

About Madhu

Madhu (he/they) is a queer Tamil human settled in T'karonto, Canada. They are the founder of Kolam Creative Collective, a coaching and facilitation practice that supports folks in tech and creative professions, especially those of us that are racialized, gender expansive, neurodivergent, Disabled, and/or chronically ill. 

Madhu has over 10 years experience working in tech as a Software Engineer and Manager, where he focused on building inclusive, sustainable teams and supporting people in their own career growth. They then trained as an ICF coach at the Academy of Creative Coaching, and received facilitation training from the Emergent Strategy Ideation Institute. They bring these experiences and skills, their learnings from intersectional feminist literature and commitment to the joy and fulfillment of marginalized humans into their coaching and facilitation work.
